Husband is thinking of starting his own business. He is a cabinet maker/craftsman to trade. Is thinking about starting small with wooden plaques etc with your kids hands/feet carved into them...Maybe childrens stools with carvings on.Looking for some feedback from people as to whether or not they would buy something like this....ie....Do you think it will take off? Can't see anything like this offered anywhere else. He has made a bespoke coffee table championing our Colloq dilly-dally alongside our sons paw and foot print from when he was a baby carved into the side. Thinking of making a number of pieces, taking photos and getting a website up and supervising. Maybe an ebay department store is the best place to start??Does anyone have any suggestions../ comments??Thanks guys x

New Business?? Is it a good idea?

An office worker claims that a cup of cold coffee onhis table warmed up to 80°C by picking up energy from thesurrounding air, which is at 25°C. Is there any truth to hisclaim? Does this process violate any thermodynamic laws? Thanks in advance

Thermodynamics question?

I'm currently at a loss right now. My boyfriend just graduated with his bachelor's in history, and he refuses to continue his education right now with something actually useful. He also has no job and he lives with his parents. While he has applied for some positions, his pursuit is hardly enough to land a job. He applies for maybe 3 jobs per week, which just won't cut it in this job market. On the other hand, I am in school, taking 20 credits, and working 30 or so hours per week making coffee and waiting tables in a cafe. Needless to say, I cannot stand his laziness anymore. I am very much in love with my boyfriend, however his laziness has carried over into other parts of our relationship.
