How to clean drywall dust from everything - furniture, plants, toaster? Help!?

Last winter me and my family packed our bags and headed to Virginia. I went with my brother, my father and my mother. I started my with a long and cramped 9 hour drive. I brought along my cell phone, my mp3 player and my acoustic guitar to add a little more enjoyment on my part, we had reservations at a resort in a large cabin without modern capabilities so I knew I had to bring something to make things a bit more interesting. As the miles past I noticed the weather changing and the temperature dropping rapidly. Before we checked into the resort we went to a small local restaurant which had I small thermometer placed on the outside of the restaurants main door although we weren't to surprised to see the thermometer reading -10 degrees Fahrenheit it was still extremely different from the tranquil weather we were used to. After we satisfied our hunger with some surprisingly good food, we ran to our small cramped economy car and drove to the city market to pick up grocery’s for our 3 night 4 day stay in our luxurious cabin.
