My ex bf and I broke up 3 years ago. It was amicable and we are good friends (see eachother once a week for coffee). He had a few bad relationships but finally met a really nice girl. I am doing homework for my college class, and this is the problem I have. I can't even figure out how to set up the equation. Here's a question I posted a few months ago:About a year ago my girlfriend and I broke up—rather she broke up with me. We dated for just over three months and had—what seemed like—a good relationship. She didn't give me a reason or explanation—nothing. She just said she didn't feel like she saw a future with me. (Although she later said she was confused as to why she had said that because she didn't know what she felt.)Anyway, she wasn't my first serious girlfriend, as I've had a couple of others (one for over two years). Since then her and I haven't really talked. She made an effort a couple of weeks later to see how I was doing, and I texted her a few times resulting in her calling me to talk, but other than that there was little communicating. (I once actually told her that frustrated me because whenever we did talk it was all formalities.)So, in June I asked her to coffee and she accepted. After that we hung out a couple more time and we seemed to have a good time. The only thing that struck me as strange was that she went out of her way to make sure I knew she hadn't been seeing anyone (to which I am still skeptical). Since then I haven't heard from her at all. Not one phone call, text, e-mail.The problem is: I can't seem to get over this one.
